Solid Waste Solutions
Based on our fundamental
understanding of the science and engineering behind the Subtitle D-based
regulations, MEC has successfully completed countless projects over the
years related to design, permitting, and/or provided operational
services for numerous sanitary landfills in the Midwest. We have also
provided services for approximately 15 solid waste transfer stations
ranging in size from 30 to 1500 tons per day. Thus, we are intimately
familiar with the state and federal regulatory requirements for solid
waste sanitary landfills and transfer stations.
Not all
solid waste matters require permitting of a waste disposal facility or
paying large sums of money to haul the waste away for disposal. MEC can
help you find an legal, cost-effective and environmentally sound
solution to your problem.
- Groundwater Monitoring and Statistical Analysis
Does
the idea of completing the statistical analysis of your groundwater
data make your head swim? MEC can help you with all your favorite terms
like SSI, DTL, PQL, etc.
- Landfill Design and Permitting
The
siting and design of a permitted waste disposal area can take
approximately 5 years and cost hundreds of thousands of dollars. You
want to make certain you have the team to help you through this maze.
MEC permitted the first Subtitle D sanitary landfill in Missouri along
with the first demolition landfill permitted through the latest
regulations.
