MEC provides the engineering expertise that industry needs with a wide variety of air quality management services.  We know how difficult it can be to understand and navigate through the  permitting process we are here to help you.  MEC offers the following Air Quality Solutions:

  • Opacity Testing (Subpart OOO)
MEC has completed numerous opacity tests in accordance with 40 CFR Part 60, Subpart OOO for industries throughout the Midwest.  MEC has six certified opacity testing personnel, thereby assuring availability and efficiency in helping you meet your opacity testing requirements.

  • Air Emissions Compliance
MEC can assist industry in all facets of air quality compliance. This may include completion of construction permit applications, operating permit applications, compliance evaluations, dispersion modeling, and Emission Inventory Questionnaires (EIQ). All reports will be prepared for client review before submitted.
